After a courageous battle, on Tuesday August 15, 2023, at St Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia, at the age of 82. Pete was the beloved spouse of Leslie Thomson. Loving father of Heather Smith, Kenneth Smith (Audrey), and Dana Ruilova (Cristian), and grandfather of Andrew and Jamie Rodgers, and Nicolas and Cesar Ruilova. Pete will be missed by several of his cousins. Predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Josie Smith and his sister Peggy Joyce Smith. Pete was an electrician with the IBEW Local 424 for many years. He was also an artist and loved to hunt and fish. Cremation has taken place, interment to take place at a later date.
