On Friday August 12, 2022, Diane Sevigny (n. Cannon) passed away peacefully with her loving children and grandchildren by her side. Diane is survived by her daughter Bernadette Hobbs (Jim), her son Doug Sherwood (Debbie), grandchildren Ashley Tanguay (Guy), Gillian Sherwood (Jake), Breanne Hobbs (Tyler), Tyler Smith (Ashley), Amy Holmes (Zack), and Katie Percival, and greatgrandchildren Maya Tanguay, Lilly, Lilah Bedard, Lennon Hobbs, Mason, Emitt and Bronwyn Holmes, her sisters Sheila Levesque, Sharon Richardson (Gary), Bernita Kordan, Debbie Kongus (Mel), and brother Darrell Cannon (Patti), and many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins, Sister friends Donna, Sharon and Judy. Diane was predeceased by her parents Louis and Janet Cannon, her husbands Ralph Sevigny, Keith Sherwood, son Brad Sherwood, brother-in-law Ivan Levesque and nephew Leo Kordan. Diane was born in Prince Edward Island and loved going home any chance see got. Diane loved camping at Countryview Campground and looked forward to happy hour on her deck at 4pm everyday with her camp family. She leaves wonderful friends Gary, Betty, Ken & Sue, Joanne & Doug, Karen & Guy, Connie & Howard, Debbie & Rob, Debbie, Dale & Lori, Ross & Mel, Ross & Mel, Dave & Viv, little Donnie, and Bear and Gale for always bringing amazing suppers. Happy hour won’t be the same without her. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at McCormack Funeral Home, 254 George Street (at College Avenue) for Memorial Visitation on Thursday August 18 from 1 – 4 pm. Remembrance and condolence may be expressed to the family online in “Diane’s Guestbook” at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com. Donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice or Ronald McDonald House in London.
