Obituary

Lynn Havers (née Barnhardt) passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, at St. Joseph's Hospice. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years, Thomas “Butch” Havers; her daughter, Tracy, and son-in-law, Chris Mavin; and her cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Kaitlyn, Tanner, and Cameron. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Trevor Havers. Lynn was predeceased by her parents, Dave and Shirley Barnhardt, and her sisters, Bonnie, Barb, Lana, and Connie. She is survived by her brother, Wayne. She leaves behind a large extended family, both living and deceased, who were part of the story of her life. A special thank you to her sister-in-law, Carol Lacasse, for her love and support over the last few months. Lynn loved her husband dearly. Through the ups and downs, they survived by laughing together. She was an avid collector, especially of sports memorabilia, and took pride in the treasures she gathered over the years. Lynn has been Aquamated and will be laid to rest at a later date. Remembrances and condolences may be expressed to the family online in “Lynn’s Guestbook” at mccormckfuneralhomesarnia.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Sarnia Organ Donation Awareness (SODA). She will be remembered for her devotion to family, her quiet demeanor, and the many memories she leaves behind.
